NASA, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, pioneers the future in space exploration, scientific discovery and aeronautics research, and has inspired Americans for more than 45 years.

NASA (silver sponsor) started working with LEAD Business at Georgetown University in 2006; today, NASA sponsors LEAD Engineering at the University of Virginia. As a LEAD program sponsor, NASA exposes students to its groundbreaking work on scientific research and development, human space flight, robotic space exploration, and aeronautics. LEAD participants are challenged to wonder “what might we learn from space – or from trying to get to space – that will improve life here on earth?”

NASA has aggressively recruited LEAD alumni for a variety of pipeline programs and full-time positions, including the Hispanic Program Manager in the Center's Equal Opportunity Programs Office and Co-op positions.
